Well, Is It Historic Or Isn't It?

Obama has been talking about the economy a lot lately, and invoking the Great Depression at the drop of a hat. Biden laments an economy that is in "desperate shape." Nancy Pelosi states:

“How else could John McCain, in the midst of the greatest financial crisis since the Great Depression, tell the American people the fundamentals of our economy are strong?”

Ohmigod, we are ALL! GOING! TO! DIE!

So, what happens when McCain suggests partisan politics should pause so that the focus can be placed on the economic crisis?

If your name is Barack Obama, the answer is business as usual.

I know McCain can be criticised on this, but, from the Obama perspective is this hopey-changy? This is the "non-partisan" "reaching across the aisle," "putting the needs of the country first" response?

Obama doesn't even feel the need to hide his hypocrisy.

I guess you can do anything when you mint your own presidential coin in September.

UPDATE:

If Obama cannot take his job as senator seriously why should we think he would be any different as president?

UPDATED UPDATE:

From QandO: Obama Whines

Really, he does. He's damn near "pouting."
